The display name is the name of the client that is displayed in the software management consoles, such as the CommCell Console, Command Center, and Web Console. You can have more than one client in your CommCell environment with the same display name, but you cannot have two clients with the same client name.
By default, the display name is the same as the client name. If you want to change the display name (for example, to support multiple tenants with identical computer names), you may do so from the CommCell Console. For more information, see the following topics:
