Alerts can be enabled or disabled in the CommCell. Disabled alerts appear to be grayed out and italicized. Alerts can also be enabled or disabled from the command line using the qoperation execscript qcommand, see QScripts for more information.
Use the following steps to enable/disable existing alerts in the CommCell:

From the CommCell Console toolbar menu, click Alerts.

In the Alerts dialog box, select the alert and click Enable or Disable, respectively. For example, for an active alert, click Disable to disable it.

Click OK.
