Enabling Subclient Backup Activities After a Delay

Applies to: DB2, NAS, SAP HANA, SAP Oracle

If you disable backup activity for a subclient, you can configure the software to enable backup activity for the subclient at a specific time.

When you enable backup activities, the following occurs:

• The software starts scheduled backups for the subclient.

• The software starts backups that are waiting to start.

• The software resumes any stopped backup jobs.

• The software starts any pending backups for this subclient.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers > client > Agent > instance or backup_set.

2. Right-click the subclient, and then click Properties.

   The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the Activity Control tab, clear the Enable Backup check box, and then click Enable after a Delay.

   The Enable Backup dialog box appears.

4. Select the Automatically Enable at the following time check box.

5. From the Time Zone list, select the time zone.

6. In the Date boxes, specify the date and time to enable backup activities.

7. Click OK.

8. Click OK.
