Launching the Command Center

You can access the Command Center after setting up the HyperScale X Appliance.

Procedure

1. The following completion message will be displayed when you complete the node deployment steps.

   

   Click the Command Center link to launch the Command Center.

   Alternatively:

   Using a web browser, launch the Command Center using the following URL:

   https://<Commserve hostname>/adminconsole

2. Type the user name as admin.

3. Type the CommServe administrator password provided during the setup.

   Note

   Optional: To remain logged on, select the Stay Logged In check box. If you do not select the Stay Logged In check box, you are automatically logged out after 30 minutes.

4. Click Login.

5. Click the Let’s get Started link.

What to Do Next

• If you are setting up a new CommCell, add a Storage Pool as described in Adding a Storage Pool.

• If you are adding a storage pool to an existing CommCell, create a new storage pool as described in Creating a New Storage Pool.
