Modifying Server Backup Plan Using the Plug-In for VMware vCloud Director

To quickly start backing up a protected or unprotected VM, select the server backup plan for the VM.

Procedure

1. In vCloud Director, click the More menu icon, and then select the plug-in option, Commvault Data Protection.

   If you are using an older version of vCloud Director (versions 9.5 - 10.0), click the Cloud Resources menu icon, and then select the plug-in option, Commvault Data Protection.

   The Virtual Machines tab appears.

2. Select a virtual machine from the Protected or Unprotected list of virtual machines to either change the associated server plan or to associate a plan if one is not assigned, and then click Modify Plan.

   The Plan selection window appears.

3. Select the server backup plan to use to back up the VM.

4. Click Modify.
