Network Gateway Computer

Follow these steps to configure a network gateway computer to permit communication between two CommServe hosts:

  1. Install Windows File System iDataAgent on the network gateway computer. See Windows File System Deployment. During deployment, enter the fully qualified domain name of the datacenter CommServe host.

  2. If the network gateway computer is separated from the CommServe host by a firewall, select the Configure firewall services option.

  3. For the firewall configuration, select CommServe can open connection toward this machine.

  4. Log on to the CommCell Console for the datacenter CommServe host.

  5. Expand Client Computers, right-click the network gateway client, and then select All Tasks > Push Network Configuration.
