Restores for the Commvault Plug-In for vCloud Director

You can use the Commvault Plug-In for VMware vCloud Director to restore virtual machines.

Procedure

1. In vCloud Director, click the More menu icon, and then select the plug-in option, Commvault Data Protection.

   If you are using an older version of vCloud Director (versions 9.5 - 10.0), click the Cloud Resources menu icon, and then select the plug-in option, Commvault Data Protection.

   The Virtual Machines tab appears.

2. Select the virtual machine that you want to restore, and then click Restore.

   The Restore VM window appears.

3. Select the type of restore that you want to perform.

   By default, restores of vApps are in place.

4. Click Restore.

   When you proceed with the restore operation, a job status message will display below the main menu.
