Updating Commvault Software on a Server

You can install the latest Commvault service pack and updates on a server.

A service pack is a collection of updates and hotfixes that are released every 90 days to resolve software issues and to enhance software performance.

Procedure

1. You can update the software on the active servers page or the servers details page.

   • Server details:

     1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers > server.

     2. In the upper right area of the page, click the action button and then click Update software.

   • Servers:

     1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

     2. In the Actions column for the server, click the action button , and then click Update software.

     The Confirm update software dialog box appears.

2. Click Yes to confirm the update operation.
