Managing DB2 User Account Credential while Adding the DB2 Instance
You can manage DB2 user account credential while adding the DB2 instance. For more information, see Adding DB2 Instance.
Managing DB2 User Account Credential by Editing the DB2 Instance
You can manage DB2 user account credential by editing the DB2 instance.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Database Overview tab appears.

Go to the Instances tab.

Click the DB2 instance for which you want to manage the user account credential.
The instance Overview page appears.

In the General tile, click the Edit icon.
The Edit DB2 instance dialog box appears.

Under the DB2 user account section, from the Credential list, select a saved credential. You can also add a credential as per requirement. For more information about adding the credential, see Adding Credential.

Click Update.
Managing DB2 Backup Set User Account Credential by Editing the DB2 Backup Set
You can manage the DB2 backup set user account credential for a DB2 instance. When multiple backup sets are associated with a DB2 instance and the login credential of few backup sets are different, then you can manage user account credential by creating a credential entity.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Database Overview tab appears.

Go to the Databases tab.

Click the DB2 database for which you want to manage the user account credential.
The database Overview page appears.

In the General tile, click the Edit icon.
The Edit DB2 Database dialog box appears.

Move the Connect as a different user toggle key to right.

Under the DB2 user account section, from the Credential list, select a saved credential. You can also add a credential as per requirement.

Click Save.
