Getting Started with Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP

Getting started with setting up Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP file storage includes verifying system requirements, configuring Open Replication and creating a storage virtual machine (SVM).

Procedure

1. Verify that your system meets systems requirements.

2. Configure the SVM in Arrays Page.

3. If you want to use SnapVault copy or SnapMirror copy, then do the following:

   1. Create a backup plan.

   2. Configure a secondary snapshot copy.

4. Optional: To customize the file storage to your environment, edit the snapshot configuration properties.
