With the physical raw device mapping (pRDM) mount operation, you can mount snapshots directly on VMs that do not have dedicated Fibre Channel (FC) adapters, without using a physical computer as a mount proxy computer.
The pRDM mount operation is supported on the following snapshot engines and snapshot agents.

Note
You cannot use the VMs that are created on the NFS datastore for pRDM.
