Custom Calendars
Use this dialog box to view, add, edit, and delete custom calendars.
Name
The name of the custom calendar.
Begin Month
The month in which the custom calendar begins.
Begin Year
The year in which the custom calendar begins.
Number of Years
The number of years included in this calendar.
Default
If selected, the calendar that is used for all scheduled operations, including reports. The standard calendar is enabled by default.

Add
Click this button to add a new custom calendar.

Edit
Click this button to edit a custom calendar from the pane list.

Delete
Click this button to delete a custom calendar.
Add a new Calendar/Edit Calendar
Use this dialog box to add or edit a custom calendar.
Name
Use this space to add or edit the name of a custom calendar.
Begin Month
Select the month in which this calendar will begin from the drop down list. A custom calendar can begin on any month.
Make this calendar the default for all operations
When selected, this calendar will be used for all subsequent scheduled operations, selective copy rules and extended retention rules.
Define Custom Months/Update Custom Months
When selected, the following options are available:

Begin Year
Select the year this calendar will begin from the drop down list. A year in the past can be selected if the total number of days and months extend to the present or future.

Start Date
Use the spaces provided to select the start day, month, and year of this custom calendar that corresponds to the start day, month and year of the standard calendar. (For example, if this calendar starts in February, and the month of February starts on the 10th day of the month, then the date to be selected is February 10, 2007.)

Number of Years defined
The number of years that are defined for this calendar.

Define Months
Click to define a custom number of days for each month of each year of this calendar in the Define Months dialog box.
Note
You cannot change the Begin Month and the Begin Year when modifying a custom calendar.
Define Months
Use this dialog box to customize the number of days in a month of this calendar year, and to define the starting day of each month.
Previous
Click to display a previous year.
Next
Click to display the following year. If custom months have not been defined for the following year, this action will copy the current year custom month definitions to the following year once you click Apply.
Define Months

Month
The months that comprise this year of the calendar.

Days
The days of each month of this year of the calendar. Click a row to change the number of days.

Start Date
The start day of each month of this year of the calendar.
Copy To
Click to copy the currently displayed year’s custom month definitions to the specified year. Enter the year in yyyy format.
Note
If there are some years with no custom month definitions in between the currently displayed year and the year specified in the Enter year to copy to window, the last defined year’s custom month definitions will be applied to those years without definitions. For example; the last defined year is 2007, but the currently displayed year is 2006. If 2010 is entered in the Enter year to copy to window, the 2007 custom month definitions will be copied to years 2008 - 2009, while the 2006 custom month definitions will be copied to year 2010.
Apply
Click to apply the number of days to each month. Starting days of the subsequent months after the starting month are automatically adjusted according to the number of days selected for each month.
