Deleting Subclients from the SQL Server Agent

You can delete a user-defined SQL subclient from the CommCell Console. You cannot delete the default SQL subclient.

Note

After you delete a user-defined subclient, you can still browse and restore the backed up data from the instance level.

Before You Begin

Verify that there are no scheduled jobs because all the scheduled jobs associated with a deleted subclient are also deleted.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, click Client Computers > client > SQL Server > instance.

  2. Right-click the subclient that you want to delete, and then click Delete.

  3. In the Confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
