Viewing the Status of Mailboxes After Running an Exchange Mailbox Agent Operation

Applies to: On-premises environments, User Mailbox and Journal Mailbox

After you run an operation on a User Mailbox or Journal Mailbox subclient, you can view the job history for that operation. For more information about each job, you can view the details. The Status tab of the job details dialog box lists each mailbox in the job that was skipped or failed during the job, or that completed with errors.

You can check the status of the job while the operation is running.

Procedure

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Exchange Mailbox.

  2. Right-click backup_set, and then click View.

  3. Click one of the following items:

    • Archiving History

      This item provides a list of archiving and cleanup jobs. You can limit the list to cleanup jobs.

    • Restore History

    • Content Indexing History

    The Job History Filter dialog box appears.

  4. Click OK.

    The list of jobs appears.

  5. Right-click a job, and then click View Job Details.

    The Details for Job dialog box appears.

  6. Click the Status tab.

    The list of mailboxes that were included in the job appears with information about the job status of each mailbox.

  7. Click Previous or Next to see the status of the previous or next job in the job history list.
