Adding a Mount Path to a Commvault HPE Catalyst Library

A mount path can be added to a Commvault HPE Catalyst Library, once it is created.

Before You Begin

Create a Commvault HPE Catalyst Library as described in XML Files - Creating a Commvault HPE Catalyst Library.

Procedure

1. Download the Add_HPECatalystDevice.xml file and save it on the computer where the command is run.

2. Open the XML file.

3. Change the XML parameters.

   Attribute	Description
   mediaAgentName	The name of the MediaAgent.
   DeviceType	Must be set to 59.
   baseFolder	This is an optional attribute. You can specify the name of the base folder or else standard naming convention will be used to name the base folder.
   deviceAccessType	Read 4 Read and Write 6 Read and Write, Preferred Access 14

4. Run the following command from the <software installation directory>\Base folder to execute the xml.

   qoperation execute –af Add_HPECatalystDevice.xml
