Creating an Azure NetApp Files Client for CIFS Shares

After you install the Windows File System Agent on the data access node, create an Azure NetApp Files client in the CommCell Console.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computers and then click Add New Client.

   The Add New Client dialog box appears.

2. Under File System, click the Azure NetApp Files icon.

   The Create an Azure NetApp Files Client dialog box appears.

3. Select the CIFS check box.

4. In the Client Name box, type a name for the client.

5. Click the Azure Subscription button, and then select the Azure subscription.

   If the Azure subscription details does not already exist, in the Array Management dialog box, create a new entry. For more information, see Adding an Array Entry for the Microsoft Azure Array.

6. Click OK.

7. Click OK.
