Getting Started with Azure NetApp Files for CIFS

Getting started with protecting CIFS shares of Azure NetApp Files using IntelliSnap includes installing Windows file system agent, creating a client and CIFS subclient, and then performing a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. To use IntelliSnap for backups, verify that your environment meets system requirements.

2. Install the Windows File System Agent on the Windows computer that has access to the Azure subscription.

3. Add the Azure NetApp Files Client for CIFS Shares.

4. Perform a test backup and restore.
