Restoring Data to a Linux Client

You can restore the network share subclient data to a standalone Linux client.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > Linux File System > backup_set.

2. Right-click the subclient, and then click Browse and Restore.

   The Browse and Restore Options dialog box appears.

3. Click View Content.

4. Select the data that you want to restore, and click Recover All Selected.

   The Restore Options dialog box appears.

5. On the General tab, provide the destination information:

   1. From the Proxy Client list, select the destination Linux client.

   2. Clear the Restore to Same Folder check box.

   3. In the Specify Destination Path box, type the destination path.

   4. Click OK.

6. On the Job Initiation tab, specify whether to run the restore now or if it will be scheduled.

   If you selected Schedule, set up the schedule. For information on configuring a restore schedule, see Schedule Restore.

7. Click OK.
