Getting Started With the Google Filestore

Ste 1: Before You Begin

• This page assumes you have already installed CommServe software. If not, see Installations.

• Refer to the System Requirements page for Linux File System Agent.

Step 2: Install the Linux File System Agent

Install the Linux File System Agent on VM instance or on an on-premise Linux computer where the Google Filestore share can be mounted and accessed.

Step 3: Mount the Google Filestore

Mount the Google Filestore share on the Linux computer.

Step 4: Prepare for Your First Backup and Restore

Create a subclient to backup Google Filestore shares.

Step 5: Run Your First Backup and Restore

• Perform a backup operation

• Perform a restore operation
