Application Users in the License Summary Report

The Application Users view of the License Summary Report displays details about Application User licenses, including the email addresses and applications associated with users, as well as usage excluded from capacity-based licensing.

Usage calculation

In environments that include Exchange mailboxes but do not have a Mailbox Archive Solution license, Exchange mailbox backups count toward capacity-type license usage.

Where to access the report

To view this report, in the License Summary Report, in the User Licenses table, click Application Users.

Current workload summary table

This table displays each type of application workload and the number of users using the application.

Column Description
Workload The application type, such as OneDrive, Exchange Mailbox, and Salesforce.
Number of Users The number of users who use the application.

Current user summary by workload table

This table displays the number of users who use one or more applications.

Column Description
Category The type of applications that users are using, such as Users with more than one workload or Users with only Exchange Mailbox.
Number of Users The number of users in the category.

Distinct users consuming application user license

This table displays the number of distinct SMTP mailboxes associated with each application or feature type. The following applications and features appear in this table:

  • Dynamics 365

  • Exchange Mailbox

  • GDrive

  • Gmail

  • Notes

  • OneDrive

  • Salesforce

  • Sharepoint Online

  • Exchange Mailbox Classic

  • Case Manager Enabled

  • Compliance Search Enabled

  • Content Indexing Enabled

Current usage excluded from capacity because of application user license

This table displays the jobs excluded from capacity when you purchase the Application Users license.

Column Description
Client ID The ID of the client computer.
Client The client computer.
Job ID The ID for the job.
Job Type The type of job that ran, such as Backup.
Workload The workload assigned to each subclient.
Workload ID The ID of the workload.
License ID The ID of the license.
License The type of license.
Agent ID The ID of the agent type.
Agent The type of agent.
Instance ID The ID of the instance.
Instance The instance.
Backup Set ID The ID of the backup set.
Backup Set The backup set associated with the subclient.
Subclient ID The ID of the subclient.
Subclient The subclient that was backed up.
Storage Policy ID The ID of the storage policy.
Storage Policy The storage policy associated with the subclient.
Used The amount of data that was backed up.
Company ID The ID of the organization.
Company The organization that owns the client computer.
Plan The plan associated with the subclient and the storage policy.
