Basic Topology for Commvault Flex Open

Basic topology provides the minimum required connections for the data protection network.

In this topology, the node requires connections to 1 - 10 GbE port for data protection network, which transfers data to and from the clients being protected and connect to the CommServe server.

If you use external storage, you can configure the storage pool network as a dedicated network. If you use only local storage, a separate storage pool network is not required because Flex Open does not include internal storage for backup data.
