The method used for disaster recovery protection of the Private Metrics Reporting Server depends on how the Private Metrics Reporting Server is installed:

If the Private Metrics Reporting Server is installed on the production CommServe computer, the CVCloud database is automatically included in the disaster recovery backup for the CommServe database. For information about disaster recovery for CommServe computers, see CommServe Recovery.

If the Private Metrics Reporting Server is installed on a different computer than the production CommServe computer, you must configure a Microsoft SQL Server Agent to perform disaster recovery backups of the CVCloud database.
