Control Administrator Access to Your Data

Enable the Prevent admin access to your data setting to prevent administrators from viewing or downloading your data.

Note

The Privacy feature must be enabled by your administrator before you turn it on in the Web Console. Contact your administrator for additional details.

Procedure

  1. From the Web Console, click My Data.

  2. Click the Computers tab.

  3. For the computer that you want to configure, click Settings.

  4. On the computer summary page, in the Privacy section, toggle the Prevent admin access to your data button to ON.

  5. In the Privacy Settings prompt, enter your login password, and then click OK.

    The privacy button is set to ON after the login is successful.

    Note

    Turning the privacy setting off also requires you to enter your password.
