The ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP) is a component that is installed when you install the Exchange package. After you install the Exchange package, you set up the ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP).

You establish a tunnel connection from the CommServe computer to the ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP) computer. However, since the ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP) computer is not available yet, you must create a placeholder computer and then configure network settings for both computers before you install the ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP).
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computers, and then click New Client > File System > Windows.
The New Windows Client dialog box appears.

In the Client Name box, type the ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP) computer name.
The Client Name must be the same computer name that you will provide during the installation.

In the Host Name box, type the ContentStore Mail Server (IMAP) domain name or IP address.
The Host Name must be either the fully qualified domain name of the computer or the IP address that the CommServe computer should use to open tunnel connections to the computer.

Click Next, and then click Finish.
