Data Verification jobs check the health of data in storage. These can be configured to run immediately after a data transfer operation or scheduled on policy basis. Data verification is supported on all types of storage policy copies.
If CRC is stored on a backup media, CRC is recalculated for each block read and compared with the stored CRC value. If any mismatch occurs an error message is displayed. If CRC is not stored on backup media, data verification operation verifies that all data is readable. For more information, see Data Verification.
