Proxy Server
For a SQL cluster configuration, you must use a proxy server when you perform the following IntelliSnap operations:

A backup copy
-
A restore
-
A snap integrity check
A proxy server can be any client that meets the following conditions:

Has the MediaAgent package installed on it
-
Has access to the array
-
Is not a part of the same cluster
