When you schedule a monitoring policy to run in Continuous Mode, the monitoring policy runs every five minutes. You can view which clients or client groups are continuously monitored.
Viewing the Continuous Monitoring Status
You can view all the clients and client groups that are continuously monitored, as well as the indexing details for policies configured with the Database template.
The following details are provided for each of the clients monitored:

The status of the monitoring policy job (active or suspended)

The last time the client was monitored by the policy

The name of the policy associated with the client and the number of log files being processed. In case of a Hyper-V monitoring policy, the name of the policy and the number of virtual machines being monitored is displayed.
Use this information to track whether monitoring policy jobs are active or inactive on clients and client groups.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies.

Right-click Monitoring Policies and click Continuous Monitoring Status.

In the Continuous Monitoring Status dialog box, choose which type of information you want to view:

To view the monitoring details for all clients, click the Client tab.

To view the client groups that are monitored, click the Client Group tab.

To view the indexing details for database policies, click the Database Policies tab.

Suspending or Resuming the Continuous Monitoring Jobs
You can suspend or resume continuous monitoring jobs for clients and client groups.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies.

Right-click Monitoring Policies and click Continuous Monitoring Status.

In the Continuous Monitoring Status dialog box, do the following:

For clients, right-click the client and select whether you want to suspend or resume the continuous monitoring job.

For client groups, click the Client Group tab, right-click the client group and select whether you want to suspend or resume the continuous monitoring job.

Click Close.
