Monitoring the Index Server

You can monitor the performance and usage of nodes on the Index Server. You can also monitor the search activity on the Web Server that is associated with the Index Server.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.

   The Infrastructure page appears.

2. Click the Index servers tile.

   The Index servers page appears.

   Index Server Clouds are not available on the Index servers page.

3. In the Name column, click the Index Server.

   The Index Server properties page appears.

4. View metrics and usage information:

   • To view the search activity on the Web Server, on the Metrics tab, click Search activity.

   • To view performance information for the nodes, on the Metrics tab, click Performance.

   • To view usage information, click the Usage tab.
