A Hedvig Virtual Disk is the fundamental abstraction of Commvault Distributed Storage.
You can spin up any number of virtual disks — each thinly provisioned and instantly available. A series of user-configurable attributes can be set when provisioning a virtual disk.
On the Virtual Disk Management (VDM) page in the Hedvig WebUI, you create and administer Hedvig virtual disks.
