Health Report: Software Version Report

The Software Version report provides a list of software versions and updates that are installed on entities in the CommCell environment.

To view this report, in the Health Report, in the Software Version tile, click View Details view_details.

The following information about the CommServe server appears at the top of the Software Version Report:

  • CommServe: The name of the CommServe server.

  • Version: The software version installed on the CommServe server.

  • Status: An indication of the status of the software version installed on the CommServe server, such as Good, Warning, or Critical. For information about how the status is calculated, see Update Statuses in the Software Version Report.

Servers

The Servers table displays the status of the software version installed on the MediaAgents, the laptop client computers, and the servers in the CommCell environment.

Column

Description

Type

The type of entity, such as a server or a MediaAgent.

Name

The entity where the software is installed.

Version

The software version installed on the entity, including the version number, the feature release number, and the maintenance release number.

For example, in 11 SP18.4, the values represent the following:

  • 11 is the version number

  • 18 is the feature release number

  • 4 is the maintenance release number

Update Status

An indication of the status of the software version installed on the entity, such as Good, Warning, or Critical.
