Adding Amazon Web Services Storage Array

To use IntelliSnap with Amazon Web Services for clients that use a secret key, add an Amazon entry in the Arrays page.

Start the Configuration Wizard

  1. From the navigation pane, click Manage > Infrastructure.

    The Infrastructure page appears.

  2. Click Arrays.

  3. On the Arrays page, click Add.

    The General page of the Add Snap Array configuration wizard appears.

General

  1. From the Snap vendor list, select Amazon Web Services.

  2. In the Array name box, enter a name for the array.

  3. In the Description box, enter the description for the array.

  4. In the Saved credentials area, do one of the following.

    • To add new credentials, click Create new Add_Button.

      The Add credential dialog box appears. The Account type, Vendor type, and credential vault will be auto-populated.

      a. From the Authentication Type list, select Access & Secret Keys.

      b. In the Credential name box, enter a name for the credential.

      c. In the Access key ID box, enter the access ID of the array.

      d. In the Secret access key box, enter the secret key to access the array.

      e. In the Description box, enter the description for the credential.

      f. Click Save.

    • To add from the saved credentials, select a credential from the Access & Secret Keys list.

  5. Click Next.

    The Array Access Nodes page of the configuration wizard appears.

Array Access Nodes

  1. From the Available MediaAgents list, select one or more access nodes and then click OK.

    • To select all the available MediaAgents as access nodes, click SELECT ALL.
  2. To disable pruning, move the Pruning toggle button of the respective access node to the left.

  3. To rearrange the selected access nodes, drag them upwards or downwards as required.

  4. Click SUBMIT.
