Enabling Paid Export APIs for an Existing Azure App

To back up channel chats and personal chats, you must enable the use of Microsoft paid export APIs for at least one Azure app. If you have an existing Azure app, you can enable this feature on the Configuration tab of the Teams app.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Office 365.

2. The Office 365 Overview page appears.

3. On the Apps tab, click the app.

   The Overview page of the app appears.

4. On the Configuration tab, in the Teams connection settings area, beside the Azure app, click the Actions button and select Edit chat backup settings.

5. The Edit chat backup settings dialog box appears.

6. Move the Enable this app to use paid Export APIs toggle key to the right.

7. Click Save.
