Getting Started with the Dell EMC Unity Storage Array

To set up the Dell EMC Unity Storage Array, review system requirements, and then add the array in the Commvault software. Then you can modify the snapshot properties.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the System Requirements

2. Review the best practices.

3. In the Commvault software, add and configure the Dell EMC Unity storage array in IntelliSnap Arrays page. See Setting Up the Dell EMC Unity Array Using Arrays Page.

   Dell EMC Unity storage array is now ready to operate.

4. Choose a Supported Agent to work in conjunction with the Dell EMC Unity storage array.
