Getting Started with the Dell PowerFlex Storage Array

To use IntelliSnap with the Dell PowerFlex storage array, add the Dell PowerFlex to Arrays page in Infrastructure.

Procedure

  1. Verify that your environment meets the Systems Requirements

  2. Configure the array in the array software before configuring the array on the Commvault software. For information, see configuring the Dell PowerFlex storage array on the array software.

  3. On Commvault software, add and configure the Dell PowerFlex storage array in IntelliSnap Arrays page. See Setting Up the Dell PowerFlex Array Using Arrays Page.

    The Dell PowerFlex storage array is now ready to operate.

  4. Choose a Supported Agent to work in conjunction with the Dell PowerFlex storage array.
