Security Integrations with Dasera

Commvault's integration with Dasera allows organizations to leverage automated alerts from Dasera to trigger secure backup and recovery operations, ensuring sensitive data is consistently protected and recoverable.

You can use Dasera for the following:

• For continuous monitoring and real-time alerts to help prevent incidents before they occur.

• Commvault’s scalable backup and recovery solutions complement Dasera’s classification and protection of overlooked data assets.

Procedure

1. Create a user. For more information, see Creating a User.

2. Assign the following permissions to the user. For more information, see  User Security Permissions.

   • View permission on the CommCell.

   • Agent Management on All Servers.

   • View permission on All Servers.

3. Create an access token for the user. For more information, see  Creating an Access Token.

4. Configure the Commvault integration using the access token in Dasera. For more information about integration, configuration, and recommended policies, see Integrating Commvault with Dasera.

   The Commvault integration will forward Dasera alerts/events to Commvault Cloud.

5. To check for anomalies, go to the Threat Indicators Report for Partner Integration.
