Getting Started with the Google Cloud Platform for Snapshots

To set up the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for snapshots, review system requirements and considerations, and then add a snapshot storage entry for GCP in the Commvault software. Next, choose an agent to back up content with GCP.

Procedure

  1. Review system requirements.

  2. Read about considerations.

  3. Add GCP in the Arrays page.

  4. Optional: Modify snapshot configuration properties.

  5. Choose one of the supported agents to back up with GCP.
