Clumio supports many AWS regions in the US, Canada, and Europe.
Consider the following:
-
The AWS region that your Clumio account is registered in is your Clumio control plane region. Choose this region when logging into Clumio.
-
If you don't see the source regions that you expect for your control plane in Clumio, contact support@clumio.com.

- If your Clumio deployment uses a restricted region as the data plane, that restricted region must be enabled on every connected AWS account that performs out-of-region (OOR) backups to it. This requirement exists because Clumio Arena data buckets use an allowlist to control which AWS accounts can write to them. If allowlisting is configured via your AWS Organization, this is handled automatically. If allowlisting is configured using individual AWS Account IDs, then each allowlisted account must have the restricted region enabled. Otherwise, cross-account OOR writes from those accounts to the restricted region may fail.
