Getting Started with GlusterFS

Verify that the environment meets the system requirements, add a file server, add a subclient,and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for GlusterFS.

   Supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and SuSE Linux operating systems only.

   GlusterFS File System (GlusterFS)* version 3.10 or higher

2. Add a file server.

3. Complete the guided setup.

4. Add a subclient.

5. Perform a test backup and restore.
