Perform a Test Backup and Restore of GlusterFS

To verify that the GlusterFS server is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Server

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The Overview page appears.

2. On the File Servers tab, click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. On the Subclients tab, in the Actions column for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

4. Click OK.

Restore the Data From Server

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The Overview page appears.

2. On the File Servers tab, click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. On the Subclients tab, in the Action column for the subclient you backed up, click the action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup Content page appears.

4. Select the content that you want to restore, and then click Restore.

   The Restore options dialog box appears.

5. Click Submit.
