You can enable power management for a cloud MediaAgent. You can opt to use the power management settings of the server group that the MediaAgent is associated with or configure different settings.
Before You Begin
- 
Verify that the cloud MediaAgent uses a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or a static publicly accessible IP address. 
- 
Select the Auto-start services when OS starts checkbox for the cloud MediaAgent. For more information, see Viewing Services. 
- 
For the cloud MediaAgent in a Linux environment, verify that the dmidecode tool is available. For more information about the tool, see dmidecode. 
Procedure
- 
From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure. The Infrastructure page appears. 
- 
Click the MediaAgent tile. The MediaAgent page appears. 
- 
Click the MediaAgent. The MediaAgent page appears. 
- 
In the Power management area, click Edit. The Edit power management dialog box appears. 
- 
Select one of the following options: - 
Use server group settings: This is the default option. Select this option to use the power management settings of the server group that the MediaAgent is associated with. 
- 
Use MediaAgent settings: Select this option to configure different settings for the MediaAgent.

If you selected the Use MediaAgent settings option, complete the following steps: - 
Select Enable power management.

Select the Cloud account.

Click Save.
