SS0010: Discovery Failed. Unable to access host

Symptom

When you are mounting any snapshot on a host, the system is unable to mount the snapshot and you may get following error:

Discovery Failed. Unable to access host

Cause

The Snapshots created during SnapProtect operation dialog box displays a list of all the snapshots on a storage array. If you open the Snapshots created during SnapProtect operation dialog box by one of the following methods, you can only view the list of snapshots and cannot mount the snapshots:

• Right click the snapshot copy of a storage policy and select List Snapshots.

• From the Control Panel, click Storage > Array Management. Select the required array in the Array Management dialog box and click List Snapshots.
