Add Commvault Software for Nutanix Files Exported to NFS

Install the File System and the MediaAgent package on the file server.

Before You Begin

Ensure that your access node meets hardware specifications to back up the NFS exports. For more information, see Hardware Specifications for Access Nodes.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File Servers.

   The Overview page appears.

2. Go to the File servers tab and locate the desired access node from the list of servers.

3. In the Actions column for the server that you want to use as the access node, click the action button , and then click Add software.

   The Add software dialog box appears.

4. In the Select Package(s) for field, select File System and MediaAgent, and then click OK.

   Note

   MediaAgent package is required to perform IntelliSnap backups.

5. To allow the servers to reboot if required during installation, move the Reboot if required toggle key to the right.

6. To receive an email notification about the job completion status, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

7. Click Install.
