Getting Started with Nutanix Files for NFS

Verify that the environment meets the system requirements, complete the file server guided setup, add the storage array, and then perform a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify the following things about your environment:

   • Is Nutanix Files 3.5 or 4.x

   • Meets the system requirements for the Linux file system

2. Complete the file server guided setup.

3. Add Commvault software to the file server.

4. Add the storage array.

5. To perform IntelliSnap backups, enable IntelliSnap backups.

6. Perform a test backup and restore.
