Getting Started with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

Getting started with object storage for Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 includes verifying system requirements, adding the object storage repository, and performing a test backup and restore.

Procedure

1. Verify that your Windows or Linux system meets the system requirements.

2. Install the Cloud Apps package on a server.

   For instructions, see Adding an Additional Server.

3. Create a server plan for Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

   If you already have a server plan that you can use for Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, you can skip this step.

4. Add the object storage repository.

5. Add a content group to the object storage repository.

6. Perform a test backup and restore.
