Changing the CommServe Hostname for a Server in the Command Center

You can change the hostname of the CommServe computer on a server. The server uses the new CommServe hostname to communicate with the CommServe.

Before You Begin

Ensure that the new CommServe hostname is resolvable and accessible in the network.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

   The Servers page appears.

2. Click the server for which you want to update the CommServe hostname.

   The server page appears.

3. On the Overview tab, in the General section, next to CommServe or Gateway hostname, click Edit and enter the new CommServe hostname.

4. Click SUBMIT.

   The Change CommServe or Gateway hostname dialog box appears.

5. Click YES.
