A client is a logical grouping of the agents that are installed on a computer. The first time the DB2 Agent is installed on a computer, a client is created in the CommCell Console.
If the client is available and you have installed a Commvault agent on the client, then you can perform operations on the client. Operations that you perform on the clients apply to all the agents that are installed on that client.
