Deleting a Remote CommCell

You can delete a remote CommCell computer that was registered as a client in your CommCell environment.

About This Task

You can delete remote CommCell computers only on the CommCell computer where the registration was initiated.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, right-click the CommServe node and then click All Tasks > CommCell Registration.

2. In the CommCell Registration dialog box, right click the remote CommCell computer, and the click Delete.

   A message appears that asks if you want to un-register the CommCell computer.

3. Click OK.

4. In the Enter Confirm dialog box, type Confirm, and then click OK.

   The CommCell computer is removed from the list.

5. Click OK to close the CommCell Registration dialog box.

Result

The remote CommCell computer remains as a client in the CommCell Browser.

To delete the client, release the license, and then delete the client.
