By default, the This machine can open connection to CommServe on tunnel port option is selected.

    2. In the CommServe Host Name box, specify the fully qualified domain name of the port-forwarding gateway. For example, gateway.gatewayservices.com.

    3. Proceed to the next page.

  4. On the Network Connection Information page, in the CommServe HTTP/HTTPS tunnel port number box, specify the incoming port number on which the CommServe computer will receive tunnel connections, and then proceed to the next page.

  5. If the client is separated from the CommServe computer by an HTTP proxy, complete the following steps on the Firewall HTTP Proxy Information page. Otherwise, skip this step.

    1. Select the Configure for an HTTP proxy check box.

    2. Select one of the following options based on your network requirements:

      • If you want to manually provide the HTTP proxy details, click Explicit proxy settings.

      • If you want to use the HTTP proxy settings that are used by the current user profile, click Use HTTP proxy from user profile.

      • If you want to auto-detect the HTTP proxy details by checking the proxy auto-config (PAC) file using DNS or DHCP WPAD, click Autodetect Proxy via WPAD.

    3. If you chose to manually provide the HTTP proxy details, provide the following information:

      • In the HTTP Proxy Host Name or IP address box, specify the host name or IP address of the HTTP proxy.
