When the CommServe LiveSync operation is enabled, by default the Clients For Commserv LiveSync Client Group is created, and all clients with Version11 SP14 (and above) are included in this Client Group.
Symptom
The Clients For Commserv LiveSync Client Group is not created automatically.
Resolution 1
Use this resolution if your Commserve is on Maintenance Release 22 or later.

Disable the LiveSync operation.

Re-enable the LiveSync operation.

From the CommCell Browser, verify that the Clients For Commserv LiveSync Client Group is created. If necessary press F5 to refresh the CommCell Browser.
Resolution 2
Use this resolution if your Commserve is on Maintenance Release 21 or earlier.

From the CommCell Browser, right-click Client Computer Groups and then click New Group.
The Create New Client Group dialog box appears.

On the General tab, in the Group Name box, type Clients For Commserv LiveSync.

In the Description box, type On a commcell with LiveSync configured, this group consists of clients which can connect to CS automatically post failover.

Click Automatic Association.

Under Client Scope, select Clients in this Commcell from the list. The Commserve name will be automatically displayed in the box on the right.

From the Match list, select all.

Under Rule Group, add the first rule as follows:

Select the Client version v11 and feature release option from the first drop-down list.

Select the greater than or equal to option from the comparison operator drop-down list.

Enter the value 14 in the next box.

Click the Add Rule Group button.
A second Rule Group will be added.

Under this Rule Group, add the second rule as follows:

Select the Client option from the first drop-down list.

Select the not equal to option from the comparison operator drop-down list.

Select the CS Client option from the third drop-down list..

Click OK.
The Clients For Commserv LiveSync client group will be created and displayed in Client Computer Groups.

To the client group, add the sCSINTERFACELIST additional setting as shown in the following table.

All the clients within the client group must be in Service Pack 14 (or higher).
