You can browse and restore granular data like, a file, a library, a sub site, or a site collection, using the SharePoint agent. Offline mining of data is useful when granular-level backup is not available.
To perform granular-level restore, you must have a content database attached to a SQL server.

License Requirements
The SharePoint offline mining tool requires the Offline Mining Enabler for SharePoint license.
Supported Versions
Verify that you are performing offline mining on one of the following versions of SharePoint server:

Client Requirements

The source client machine must have a SQL server with an attached content database. This can be configured using any one of the following methods:
